This is a wine which defends Vilabella in Alt Camp, Tarragona, and the red Cartoixà. The Escabeces "is a mystery", because "it has apink colour, but it is a white wine, and it is a white wine, but it has a red-wine soul".
Escabeces is an interesting low-grade wine that purely shows varietal rusticity.
